As I said this is another comic we made backwards. Jared handed me that last frame you see and this is one of the first things that came to my mind. Dick In A Box, in case you don't know, is a song/video from SNL and it's quite funny! Here we see mr. Dogears taking the lyrics a little too seriously...
And he's clearly not too happy, though he may have not done it quite right.

So Jared drew the baby plucking out a corpses eye. This got me to thinking...where could said corpse be? Well, being the funny fella I am I decided he was that guy that Jared had drawn in the previous Suburban Wounds that Dad had been beating. So with little delay, Dad shows up again! Huzzah!

Jared and Pj's Terrible Twos #33

This is our first BACKWARD Terrible Twos in the sense that it was made backwards (it still reads left to right.)

As you may or may not know, normally, Jared and I (Pj) alternate between who does the first frame. Thus we each get to start a comic and end one.

With this comic we mixed it up and I did the last frame and, instead of coming up with a punchline/ending, Jared had to come up with a lead in. This leads to an interesting outcome and I am looking forward to making a few more this way to mix things up.

here we have another deep comic. it is mind numbing and mind blowing at the same time. he is in fact looking in the hole...but said act of looking is all a matter of perspective, when the tables are turned, the hole is looking into him. Jared and Pj are really changing what a comic can be with these Terrible Twos and I can't help but believe they will be the philosopher kings who are destined to save the future of the human race. it's that simple.

So the comic falls, depicting the pitfalls of occult studies. Is this promoting a christian ideal? Or just making fun of how big a book he's holding? One may never know. Wait yes one may, it's funny! Not christian! Oooohhhh! It's a trap!

Jared and Pj's Terrible Twos #17

So today we're back on schedule. Now...on to the critical discussion of this poignant comic. The man on the left, obviously suffering from some sort of dementia and poor dental care, declares, in a rather milksop way, "I'm lonely..." trailing off for hopes of being corrected by someone who will say "no you aren't! I'm your lover for life!" the man also has a large tooth shaped haircut, perhaps his own way of ridiculing his poor dental hygiene.

Frame two depicts an unexpected response. When toothless man spoke out to declare his state of loneliness he hoped for a reciprocation of sorts. An unrequited love perhaps to burst forth from the infinite beyond to tend to his emotionally tender wounds. But nay, he is instead accompanied by the brainless and even more unhygienic fellow who declares in even more feeble words "me too..." what a pathetic act of riding coattails.

This comic purely and plainly illustrates the dilemma that is caused by the commercialization and popularization of the "emo." People who are truly in pain and sorrow are ignored for those who are simply failing to accurately identify their emotions and simply jumping on a bandwagon of faux emotional honesty. It's fucking bullshit.
